Employment is a vital part of success for reentrants returning to society.
The DOC prepares inmates to return to the workforce while encouraging employers
to give reentrants a second chance in order to succeed.
Job-seekers can search and apply for jobs across the state or locally.
You can create and upload a resume for employers to review.
PA CareerLink® will also recommend jobs for you based on your preferences and
also keep track of your job search activities, record any outside job-search activities, too.
The NRRC was established by the Second Chance Act (Public Law 110-199).
The Second Chance Act authorizes federal grants to government agencies and
nonprofit organizations to provide reentry services—including employment assistance,
substance use treatment, housing, family programming, mentoring, victims support, and other services—and to support corrections and supervision practices that aim to reduce recidivism.
